Car & landing Operating Panel
Car Operating Panel (COP): Located inside the elevator car, this panel includes buttons or touchscreens for selecting floors, opening and closing doors, and possibly emergency communication systems. It may also feature additional controls for functions such as lighting or fan operation, as well as display screens showing the current floor and other relevant information.
Landing Operating Panel (LOP): Found at each floor landing, this panel allows users to call the elevator, indicating which direction they want to go (up or down). It typically includes buttons or touchscreens to request the elevator and may feature indicators showing the car’s current position or arrival time.
